How to play!

Mafia Of Cheese can be played between two to four players, for all ages.

The ultimate goal for each player, is to be the first to take down the boss at the top of the pyramid.

The Challenge!

Enemies - Each enemy holds a special ❤️value. Players roll their combat die to either match or surpass this value, allowing them to defeat the opponent and draw a card, while also advancing on the pyramid in their next turn.

As you progress to more advanced enemies, their cards boast unique abilities that trigger either upon their defeat or when flipped, injecting an element of surprise into the game and keeping players on their toes.

Consumables - In the realm of consumables, after rolling the combat die, any player can strategically play their consumable cards to modify the roll, even on another player's turn. Some may choose to bolster their roll with a positive 4 to surpass the ❤️value, while adversaries might counter with a negative 6 to hinder their progress. Once all players decide to no longer play their hand, the totals are tallied, and the combat phase concludes, with all consumable cards finding a new home in the discard pile.

But that's not all! There's also equipment to consider. These rare consumables return to the players' hands after the combat phase. Each equipment card bears a 🛡️value. When utilized during the combat phase, players must roll to match or exceed this value; otherwise, the equipment breaks and is removed from the game.

The black market - Players are given the option to pass their turn and pay a visit to the delightful black market. There, they can exchange some of their consumable cards for superior ones. Each consumable card holds a 🪙 value, and players can make the exchange by offering any combination of cards, as long as their total 🪙 value equals that of the cards they wish to acquire from the black market.
